Direct forced evacuation

Direct vent gas-fired water heaters feature Intelli-Vent ® gas control , a sealed combustion chamber and ¾ inch side connections for high output models. They offer a choice of standard 90° elbow or concentric termination. Combustion gases can be evacuated horizontally through an exterior wall, or vertically through the roof. Since they do not use ambient air for combustion, an air supply duct from outside is connected directly to the water heater.
